Default Allentown Gun Show- Forks of the Delaware

The Forks of the Delaware Historical Arms is running its gun show on Oct 18 & 19 at the Allentown Fairgrounds.

In order to help promote the show, and the Pennsylvania Firearms Owners Association (PAFOA), the club is offering free entrance on Saturday to registered board members. If you are not a member of PAFOA, sign up now to take advantage of this offer.

PM me with your name and town you live in and I will have a guest badge waiting for you on Saturday. You must be a registered board member. I must have your information by Thursday, Oct 16, at 6:00 PM. After that time I will not be able to reserve your entrance badge.

Got a question about the Guest Badge.

The Guest Badge will allow the wearer to come and go throughout the entire show. You can leave, come back, leave and come back as many times as you like. The badge will also allow you to return on Sunday.

Hey Bill! I'll be attending! These shows are always great and I'm looking forward to finding a deal on an AR15! See you then.

We can arrange that, but please take into consideration the following:

We draw collectors (displayers) and dealers from all over the country. To make it easy on their distant travelling, we close at 2:00 pm on Sunday and cut off admissions to the public at 1:00pm.

Well the time has ended for the badges. Thanks to everybody who is going to attend.

All approved members have received a PM from me stating your badge will be waiting. It will be at the front entrance to the show.

There was a couple of incidents of double ID's. That is an abuse of the club generosity and those individuals have to pay to come.

Each guest will receive a letter with their guest badge. The letter will ask you about the posibility of future events.

Please read it and email me your feedback.

    See you there.

Thumbs up Re: Allentown Gun Show- Forks of the Delaware

    Hi Bill,
I just wanted to thank you again for the badge and free admission to the gun show today. I must say it was much larger than I had expected. (I never attended a show at the fairgrounds before.) I thought there was a nice mix of antiques and modern weapons. I especially enjoyed some of the displays of older flintlocks and US Navy boarding weapons. Talk about a great day! I was out early for the open of early muzzle loader and went to the show in the afternoon. I didn't get my AR15 though. I was a little short of cash and I don't want to settle for something cheaper. I think by the next show I'll be ready to get a good rifle and maybe a new smaller carry pistol. Anyway, great show and thank you again!

    Sincerely,

    Ed Grecsek
