    Default Meet 'The New Girl'

Couple of months ago I bounced around the forums about headspacing on two old Yugo M48s I bought. One was a trashcan gunsmiths special, the other an old ex-deer rifle that hadn't been fired since 2003..... I don't remember who gave me the advice "Famous last words, 'I think you'll be fine'" but thank you! About 180 rounds later I'm still ok!

Today, I'd like to introduce you to The New Girl.

Little back story before I put more pictures.. Went to Sarco to look at some Yugos, found a beat up BO for $110 without a bolt. I've had a huge interest in WWII and any major conflict since I was about 6 years old (I just turned 26) My trophy always has been, and still is a legit 1940s K98, straight off the soldatens person, but prices as you know sky rocketed and now we have $2000 Mausers as a norm, but whatever.
I bought the BO and instantly found out how hard it would be to find a bolt, and I had no idea about headspacing or anything like that. With the help of you guys I found a bolt, put it in, no issues. Except the action was a tad rough and got me worried. So I panicked and bought another Yugo to compare the old one. Why buy another gun? Why not just take the BO to a smith? Who knows.

I originally bought it under the impression it was an M-48A, no idea where it came from or how it made its way to PA, but she did.
After some research I found out that its not an M-48A, its a regular M-48, which probably means nothing, except the S/N....

I kinda lost my stuff when I noticed the low S/N

But, the bolt doesn't match and even looks to be heated near the handle, maybe started its life as a straight bolt but was bent?

    Stock matches

I took a look at top of the receiver and saw it was drilled and was probably scoped at one point, which made me think deer rifle but then I thought with the Yugoslav wars and all maybe used as a sniper/DMR, BUT thats just me wishing and thinking. The side was always stamped with an Iraqi Jeem, but I don't have a picture of that just yet.
The stock isn't the best, she has a few deep scratches but other than that, she fires pretty darn well I think.

Anyones whos interested I'll post more photos or the stock and receiver..
