Re: where in lackawanna county....
Well there is always the SGL 300 From Archbald go east on State Route 1012 approximately 2 miles. From Exit 4 of State Route 6, the Lackawanna Industrial Highway, take Salem Mountain Road toward Cortez, approximately 1 mile.
I can tell you the SGL in Gouldsboro is closed for a month or so for lead removal or decontamination.
There is rumour of an indoor range right here in the basement of Starr Uniform but I hear it is for police only. However that is where you can take your lethal weapons training as well for your act 235 I believe.
You can also wander out to luzerne, pike or wayne counties as well for other SGL ranges.
I hear the Factoryville rod and gun has the largest membership in the area might be worth checking out as well."No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms."

All the SGL ranges in Luzerne, Carbon and Monroe County (#206, #141 and #127) are shut down (at the same frickin' time ) for lead reclamation.

I was up at SGL 189 I think it is in Hawley the other day and they too are closed for lead redemption but I think that is considered Pike county there by lake wallenpaupack.
