Exhibit A... why there should not be mag limits.
The thing that stands out from this article is that the homeowner armed himself, got into a gunfight with the bad guys, and ran out of ammo. Then got pistol whipped because he could no longer defend himself.
On the plus side, he was armed, did hit one of the bad guys and came out alive.
On the negative side he ran out of ammo, got pistol whipped and is lucky to be alive.
You sometimes here antis say “no one needs that much ammo” or “no one needs more than ___ rounds in a gun”. I bet this guy wished he had a larger magazine.

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas police continue to investigate a violent home invasion that occurred in the west part of town earlier this month.
Officers were called to a home in the 9200 block of Star Cross Lane, near Spring Mountain and Fort Apache Roads, on Feb. 1 just before 10 a.m. with reports of a shooting.

Two suspects broke into the residence while the homeowner was asleep.
The man awoke after hearing glass breaking in another part of the home, according to a police report.
He then armed himself with a gun while investigating the noise and that's when he spotted two suspects in his living room.
One of the burglars was seen armed by the homeowner, and shots were fired between them, according to a statement given to police.
The victim informed officers he was shot in the leg and then pistol-whipped by one of the assailants after both of them ran out of ammunition.
The thieves then helped one another out of the house after the shooting and were driven to a local hospital seeking treatment for their injuries.
The homeowner was able to contact authorities and was also treated at the hospital for a gunshot wound from the altercation.
Detectives believe the suspects were casing the area before the burglary. As authorities said burglars often strike when they think no one is home by monitoring traffic and getting no answer at the front door.
Michael Moore and Devin Taft were the men identified by police as the suspects involved in this incident.
Friday, police released a mug shot of Taft.
Both men are facing multiple charges including attempted murder and home invasion with a deadly weapon.
They are scheduled for a preliminary hearing on March 8.

Ive been asked that same stupid question which is really irritating. Wonder what gun/capacity it was ? Guess it’s always a good idea to have an extra mag with your home defense gun

Even where the commies get mag limits through, those laws should definitely not apply within the home.

I really expected this story to be about the guy who took an AK47 to 5 armed home intruders in Texas lol
Killed 3, put 2 in ICU, and walked away himself from what I read.
