Re: William Barr Could Be Worse Than Holder
I hear what you guys are saying and feel your frustration. I want Trump to be the perfect candidate on the 2nd. I do not want Barr to take the position. But I will still vote for Trump. There is not a single Democrat running that will not make gun control their number 1 issue and destroying the 2nd in America. Staying home might seem like the thing to do..... but I think it will kill us in the end.

Re: William Barr Could Be Worse Than Holder
You’re right.... Toomey is Shady on the 2nd..... I would not hesitate to say scumbagish. But he voted yes for Gorsuch. He voted yes for Kavenaugh as did a couple of other Senators who are RINO’s.
Having a democrat as state Senator would have given the Kavenaugh vote a completely different dynamic. There is no way in hell McGinty would have voted yes for Gorsuch, Kavenaugh or a ton of lower court judges. If one or two of the RINO’S in the Senate had not been elected and their Democratic opposition had....... Trumps picks would not be getting in and the stability he has been adding to counter 8 years of Obama picks would not be happening.
Not perfect candidates..... but they never will be no matter how many elections people decide to sit out. But even in a case of two bad candidates there is still a better choice. Sometimes you have to go with it. Imo.

Re: William Barr Could Be Worse Than Holder
I am not expecting there to be a perfect candidate. Reliance on an uncertain Supreme Court is misplaced. The point is that the incremental infringements are destroying the Second Amendment. Universal background checks amount to complete registration, or is easily the foundation for it. All it would need is one more tweak. Toomey is so dishonest on this point is is sickening. He says his bill specifically prohibits registration. Right, he just puts all the infrastructure in place for it. Then, in the next Congress, they make one amendment to remove the word "not" before "register". It is that simple. Years of supporting incremental infringements will kill us in the end too. And by the time they start rounding them and us up, there will be nothing left to do but surrender. Make them declare their intentions now. Then let's have that political debate in full view. Force them to repeal the Second Amendment and see where that takes us. I think honesty and full disclosure of the issue is healthier for the Republic than what is going on now.
Look at CA, NY, NJ, CT. Every session they just keep piling on more and more. There is never an end to it. The Second Amendment is already in tatters in those states and others. At that national level that approach will be a disaster for our rights in short order. I want the RINO Democrats unmasked as to their real agenda, and the incremental approach helps them hide it. No more hiding the citizen disarmament agenda. It is the RINOS that are hiding it. Some Democrats prefer stealth for obviousl\ reasons, but some do not care. With control of only one House in Congress, they are ready to bring on the fight. https://www.cnsnews.com/news/article...-mental-health
We have it in spades here in PA right now. HB2060 opened the door and they are going to keep widening the breach until we are worse that the other infringement states within 4 years or less.
Here is a suggested amendment that pro-2A legislators should tack on to every proposed infringement bill:Disarm Politicians.jpgLast edited by Wilderness 1864; February 10th, 2019 at 09:59 AM.
