I'm transitioning to Korean. I have to get that changed on my birth certificate and driver's license and need a doctor's note. Then I'll be able to check off Asian. Then you can call me ajumma

it was said earlier in this thread, Hispanic is the ethnicity which is recognized as part of the white race by the feds. you can see this when you look up stats in the FBI UCR.

What if you ARE Hispanic?

Hispanics are officially white according to the treaty of Guadalupe-Hidalgo, which is “the supreme law of the land” according to the Constitution.

That’s why questionnaires often give “white non-Hispanic” as a choice.

I don't see why I would I see plenty of Korean ladies and even some men on my dramas that dye their hair red or reddish. I'm discussing with my doctor though how to lose some height though. I'm a bit taller than the average Korean so we're looking for some solutions. I just want to blend in when I go over there and just be one of the unni's maybe meet a nice ahjussi. Chances of me being able to just blend in are pretty slim though.

Wait, what Hispanic? I have ancestors that are black Irish. As a matter of fact my family name is derived from a Spanish name because my ancestor could swim and found a nice Irish lady to help him out after he got ashore. Does that make me Hispanic black Irish white Celtic with red hair then? Where the heck is that on the 4473? I feel excluded. Now that I'm transitioning to Korean I might begin to feel inclusive. Oh wait, I might not be able to get into an Ivy League College because I'm Asian now. Geez, this is confusing.
