    Default Shotgun Sling-Remington 870

Anyone with an idea to attach a sling without drilling? I hve the Express Super Magnum with the regular shell holder. I've been looking around but can;t really find something tht doesn;t screw with sight picture.

I was looking at the Ultimate Loop Sling.

That one you posted seems slick! I likey. Is it comfortable? Both it and the Ultimate are the same price but the Ultimate loops around the barrel as opposed to a cap.

I have the padded version of the sling, though, using it on an Ithaca 37, I just ditch the magazine cap, since sling studs on those thread into the barrel lug.

It's not bad. Your cheek is probably going to land on the part that straps around the stock, but you can ignore it pretty easily. There is a little bit of play on the stock end (mainly rotationally), but I haven't had it slip off yet. The barrel end works fine, though it's kinda disappointing that the attachment is fully threaded instead of being a QD swivel.

I would imagine, if you're using this for a slug gun or accuracy oriented application, that the Total Shotgun Sling would be a bit better for accuracy since it doesn't directly pull on the barrel (though on the Remington 870, the barrel is connected to the mag tube, and the sling connected to the barrel lug on the Ithaca, save for free floated variants like the Deerslayer).

I thought it was connected to the mag cap for the one you have? There are no studs on my 870
