Default We are a Republic NOT a Democracy

If you have any democrats still left in your contact list, this needs to be sent to them. Long but worth every minute.

    Democracy; the road to dictatorship!

To admit that you are a democrat, is an admission to treason!

You can't be democrat and not be a traitor to the United States of America and the Unites States Constitution. Democrats, openly promote the overthrow of our country. They promote “democracy.” They do not support the supreme law of this land and are clearly in violation of Article 4, section 4 of the US Constitution, which guarantees a Republican form of government, not a traitorous democracy.

Our nations founders would have tared and feathered every one of these democratic traitors.

Nice thing about the democratic left, is that they clearly define who our Nation's domestic enemies are!

Dismantle the democratic party - NOW! And, arrest them all for treason!

I'm so sick of hearing Democrats say we're a Democracy. Kamala Harris said it in a speech this weekend again.

I really think they do it just because of the party names...they want to make it sound like Democrats are the "proper" party to run a "Democracy". Republic is a bad word to them because of the word Republican.

It's all a marketing strategy for their party. I'm rteally not sure if they're smart enough to realize it's a lie though, they've probably been taught by their liberal colleges that we really are a Democracy.

It you don't even know what kind of government we have, you shouldn't be a part of it at any level, forget President.

I stressed this point to my extended family, friends, and anyone who would listen for 5 seconds, all met with a blank stare.
But, they all know what garbage show will be on at 5pm, what talking points the local newscasters were slinging that day, and that orange man bad.

    Definition of democracy
1a : government by the people. especially : rule of the majority
b : a government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through a system of representation usually involving periodically held free elections
2 : a political unit that has a democratic government
3 capitalized : the principles and policies of the Democratic party in the U.S. from emancipation Republicanism to New Deal Democracy— C. M. Roberts
4 : the common people especially when constituting the source of political authority
5 : the absence of hereditary or arbitrary class distinctions or privileges
It would seem that a number of those apply.

Democracy is NOT ONLY "majority rule", despite the pedantic among us insisting that it does.

They hate just about everything the Constitution. The First Amendment? Check! The Second Amendment? Check! The Electoral College? Check! National Sovereignty? Check! Individual Liberty? Check! Today's Democrat Party and the Constitution are at opposite ends of the political spectrum.

Posting this to the thread to preserve it because its dead on.

The Democratic Party subordinates American national sovereignty to globalism. It debases citizenship by extending rights and privileges to non-citizens, including the right to vote. It suppresses free speech with political correctness, groupthink conformity and censorship. It undermines the rule of law and equal justice by obstructing the enforcement of laws.

It supplants a unifying American identity with the divisiveness of multiculturalism, identity politics and “white guilt” racism. It disparages the teaching of American history, civics and core values, preferring leftist social-justice ideology. It opposes individualism and self-reliance and encourages group dependence. It strives to penalize capitalism for the furtherance of socialism.

It seeks to circumvent or eliminate the electoral college system to its advantage in presidential elections. It advocates for the admission of additional states to gain Democratic Party majorities in the U.S. Congress. Ultimately, its goal is to impose one-party rule.

It's very common that people make this mistake. Politicians, who are mostly lawyers, of both parties mistakenly call our country a "Demcoracy". I think they want to virtue signal to average people that their say (vote) actually makes a difference. I believe they are actually scared to admit the structure of our government.

The Media who gets A LOT wrong also does this all the time, as do entertainers, celebrities and others who have a voice.
