Default NFA Stamps in Bucks county

    Hi All

I'm considering a piece of property in Bucks county. Does anyone have experience dealing with the sheriffs department in regard to applying for NFA stamps? SBR, Suppressors?

I never lived in Bucks county. However the Sheriff doesn't sign the NFA forms anymore. They only get a copy when you sent the form, prints and check into ATF for approval. So you no longer have to rely on the Sheriff's approval regardless if it is a individual or trust.

The new(ish) Dem sheriff in town, may send you a letter asking for a sit down to discuss your NFA toys.

Ignore, or politely decline his invitation, and try to avoid the urge to send him one of these.

The Sheriff’s office did my finger prints. Fast and courteous service.

I'm not surprised. Sheriffs have an election to worry about.

Sorry, not sure how I missed this, I’m only 5 months late. Got printed in July 2018 after new sheriff was elected and in office.

I have never had an issue getting my prints with the old or new Sheriff. truth be told it is the staff you have to deal with not the sheriff himself so... as a side note I work for a vendor of the county and they recognize me so my treatment might be unique.

    No issues... I have both.
