Re: Philly anti-gun SJW DA to enforce reporting lost/stolen gun law
I'm guessing this asshole is a newly elected DA that has no clue what preemption means?
Time to fire off a letter to our anti gun AG and place them on notice that we expect him to control his family.

Re: Philly anti-gun SJW DA to enforce reporting lost/stolen gun law
Thats kinda my point. How would they prove when exactly you first noticed it was missing... Law abiding citizens of course are going to report a missing gun when discovered. Straw purchasers of course are simply going to say they didn't know it was missing. Either way i dont see how you can prove a timeline of when a person knew

Re: Philly anti-gun SJW DA to enforce reporting lost/stolen gun law
It did in a roundabout sort of way.
Sophisticated Philadelphia elitist Krasner cannot abide being upstaged by a hayseed western PA Mayor from lowly Pittsburgh, so he has to get into the act. Count on Kenney to pipe up soon too. Also, remember, we are going to see a lot of orchestrated "spontaneous" gun control moves sprouting up in the coming weeks as Wolf seeks to end pre-emption and build a "groundswell" of support for all of his infringement measures.

Re: Philly anti-gun SJW DA to enforce reporting lost/stolen gun law
What if you discover it's missing when popo shows up with a SWAT team to take you into custody because they found a gun registered to you associated with your name in the database at a crime scene? Can you then start your 24 hours and report it missing? If you think so I have a nice bridge for sale.

Just buy only "Smart Guns". That way only YOU can shoot it. Problem solved. Everybody wins!

Obviously this needs to be publicly challenged

Re: Philly anti-gun SJW DA to enforce reporting lost/stolen gun law
Doesn't someone need to be charged first so they have standing to file a lawsuit?
Of course this sets up gun rights groups perhaps having to defend a less than stellar character, and/or else allows a leftist judge to issue an "Any reasonable law abiding citizen should know where his guns are at all times" BS ruling.
I suspect the DA knows this. The Left always pushes the envelope. That's what they do.
