    Default SCOTUS 2A Case 2019

I am not sure if this was posted, but, if not, here it is.

    https://www.reuters.com/article/us-u...-idUSKCN1PG1QQ

I am remaining hopeful that this, along with the strike down on DC's may issue case, may start the process for states like NJ being smacked down.

    But, time will tell

"The case will be heard and decided in the court’s next term, which starts in October and ends in June 2020."

I certainly hope so too. Rather irritating that we even have to wonder what the outcome could be. I really hope Roberts doesn't get blackmailed (or scared of his hoity toity dinner party friends' opinions) again and screws us.

End result aside, right now I'm sure New York City (and State) is shitting one huge brick.

Roberts is the problem. They have big time dirt on him. Ginsburg isn't going to make the next session in my opinion.

    Roberts is certainly a problem.

As for Ginsburg, it isn't out of the realm of possibility that she'll make it until then. With any luck she'll go to a hunting ranch in Texas sometime this year.

Depending on how this goes, it could be the start of the reason why many of us voted for Trump. Rulings like this will be big in the future. The pro gun side has a good chance to win this because of Trump.

I have no doubt how this would go if Hillary had replaced Scalia, Ginsberg and potentially Kennedy. The 2nd would be royally screwed right now.

Say what you will about Trump......... He saved the Supreme Court imo. That alone was worth my vote no matter what other stupid stuff he has done. It might be a low standard, but despite things like the bump stock ban Hillary would be doing much worse, and the court would be lost for generations. And I do not think I am being overly dramatic with that statement.

    Trump 2020.

Agreed! This is why I voted for Trump mainly. I mean I would have voted for him anyway because I just don't see myself voting blue EVER. However this was the big reason. Ginsberg may not go before October, but she'll probably go before 2020 election. We just have to hope it's early enough that there is time to get another judge appointed.

I vote for him because he has toxic masculinity.
