    Default Remington model 29 help

    Hey guys. My neighbor and good friend just bought a Remington model 29. He started feild stripping it for a good overdue cleaning and the bolt and pump get stuck in the rearward position not allowing the pump to release.

    There isnt much on YouTube about these which is where I usually go in situations like this. Anyone have any good advice for how to free the pump? Or does any one know of any gunsmiths that would be willing to give it a once over so he can learn how to feild strip himself?

    Any help appreciated. Thanks.

    I found a couple of vids on it. Button on the right side of the receiver for releasing the action. Flip-piece in front of pump for removing barrel and magazine from receiver....
