The Oaks 3-day shows are HUGE! Best time to get there is noon on Friday. Get in line at 12:30. Doors open at 1:00. Saturday and Sunday have large crowds and full parking lots, plus certain ammo may be sold out by end of Friday (like .38 full wad-cutters I'm usually buying).

Oaks Gun Show was amazing, I went there during the show they had just before Christmas and they had 1700 tables. I was there for almost 9 hours and I could have spend more time if I wanted, just make sure you get there early or it will be a long walk.
Sanity, yours if you can keep it.....

I remember when the VF Sheraton had shows on both lower floors and a huge tent outside.

I'm too young to remember any outdoor tent.

Thanks for the help everyone. There’s an Oaks show coming up on Feb 8-10. Is that show smaller than the one in December?

Yes, the March show is normally the largest Oaks with 2000 tables. Oct and Dec shows are 1700 tables.

You could thank internet sales for that. Accessories, ammo, and new guns are less expensive through the net. Whether or not that is a good thing is a matter of opinion.

In my lifetime gun shows had their heyday in the 70s to the 90s.
