No gun purchase under 26 years of age
Many states are examining proposed legislation that would establish 21 as the minimum age to purchase a gun.
I have read that those studying the human brain generally agree that humans are not fully developed, mentally, until age 26.
Therefore, wouldn't it seem appropriate that no action which could affect society as a whole should be permitted of anyone under the age of 26?
Driver's licenses, conferring of degrees, marriage licenses, gun purchase permits, signing up for military service, et cetera.
This would relieve prison crowding, since crime committed by anyone under 26 would be excused for immaturity. There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

Ok. Citizens (and noncitizens) at those ages need more excuses for being totally not responsible for anything...

No guns until you're 21, but lower the voting age to 6.
