Re: 9mm mag block for 5.56 lower....which one?
I like the idea of that Endomag, but holy Christ - $80 for three, plus another $30 for three Pmags... $110 is a lot of money for THREE magazines.
I guess it depends on a person't specific situation to determine if it's worthwhile.

Re: 9mm mag block for 5.56 lower....which one?
That's how I feel about it.
It's an interesting idea, and I thank Hodgie for providing good info.
But for me if i'm going to spend $80 to set up 3 mags, that's almost half of the mag block, I'll spend the $180 and hopefully not have to look back.
I own a bunch G17 mags, and will be trying the P-mag version soon.

Re: 9mm mag block for 5.56 lower....which one?
It does seem like a good bit, but in my case, I have no Glock or Colt mags. So I would need to buy mags as well as a Mag-Block or a dedicated lower. I already have a crap ton of P-mags. I still need to get a barrel and handguard to complete my 9mm build, so I haven't tried the Endomags yet. I am hoping for the best. I have been follow a thread on AR15.com since the Endomags were announced earlier last year. I got in on a pre-release special. I got 6 for $140.
