Couldn't have said it any better!

I stand corrected, it is Weis market is what she said.

The only thing I recall about Hamlin is there is a pretty busy race track there. If that's a concern you may want to see where it is in relation.
I assume you are talking about Moc-A-Tec Speedway, which has been closed since (IIRC) 2004.

So I can assure you that it should NOT be a concern.

    I believe it's Hamlin Speedway.

nice rural area.. stay clear of Pocono Mountains Resort or whatever that drug/thug infested originally built as a vacation home development is called..

I don't see Wolfie and Potatoe Head getting very far on these issues.. too many people are standing up and saying No F'in Way! btw be in Harrisburg on Monday 6 May

Also.. make sure if you are gonna live out yonder you have good snow tires in the Winter.. Best of luck and welcome to freedom

Someone in the restaurant business. The Chinese restaurant is gone already, no great lose because that place was filthy. I wouldn’t let my dog eat there if he was alive.

Update: I finally got to visit the Hamlin area last Friday and it seems like a nice town, and while I didn't get to see much, I did see the Weis market and the Beer store. Both very important.

The home(trailer) was about a mile away. Pulling into the mobile home park .......... was just sad, it needs some serious help. The home itself was okay but the asking price would have to be cut in half. All in all, it's just not for me.

Two concerns.........I'm a leg amputee so stairs, having a 25ft walk, or needing to go uphill/downhill to reach the front door, are obstacles I don't need. The second is.......I would hate to see the gun grabbers do to PA as Andy Cumhole did to NY.

Yes, that place is going to be redeveloped. My info comes from local sources I consider reliable but lacks details. The current Weis has been closed in that plaza and is supposed to be turned into a large Weis store like the one in Honesdale. Weis operates from their now long standing store at the on 590 near 191. Eventually, that store will close permanently. I don not know what else is slated to go into the strip mall.

I want to thank the person who sent me a PM, but I inadvertently deleted it and don't remember what it said. I'm still trying to find to find a place to call home. Suggestions are appreciated.

Scolist what price range you looking at? There’s a newly remodeled ranch at 529 Maple Grove Rd, Sterling
