the grip is a welcome change, not sure if mags are hard to come by but the scorpion is still an absurdly heavy pistol with an awful trigger & that safety was clearly designed by an s&m enthusiast.

they really don't have much going for them right out of the box.

I know someone that bought 3 (real) scorpian auto pistol parts kits for next to nothing.
They were demilled by a single cut through the receiver with a bandsaw.

I saw on their YouTube channel yesterday and now I want a scorpion more then ever. Rob From AKOU is doing a 5K round torture test on one and it's kicking ass. I think they are over 3K rounds no cleaning without a failure.

PSA has a 9mm Ak that uses Scorpion Evo mags, I think that is the closest you are gonna get.

I own an MPX, MP5 and the CZ Scorpion. The Scorpion feels lighter then all three. The scorpion is better then my MPX suppressed.
If I had to pick one, it would be the scorpion. Not only a more simple design but it the cheapest out of the three and very affordable to mod.

Franklin armory trigger = but there are cheaper ways to fix the trigger pull.
