Kicking myself for not buying more a few years back when Topgun had them for $499. I bought a couple but at the time was going to buy 10+ thinking the price was going to go way up but I didn't want to drop $5k and get stuck. Stupid, stupid, stupid...…………….lol. I've had mine for 20 years. Carried it a lot. Bought it when my range got two of them in, used. Former police guns or something. I bought one, a friend bought the other.

And now for what some think is sacrilege. To avoid corrosion on a carry piece, I had it hard chromed by a place in Florida, if memory serves. It's not like a polished finish, but flat. To my eyes...beautiful. Some don't agree. At the time, the slide and frame didn't match...and it wasn't some "collectible".
