Well, they certainly can't claim ignorance of the law, after being told by multiple lawyers and 2A groups, the Allegheny County DA, and 600 armed protesters with the media in tow.

Exactly. If they'd played dumb, then it's an "aw, schucks- did we do that?"

But putting it out the way they have, there's no way it isn't a willful criminal act.

Some rep should push a statewide law barring anyone convicted of an M1 or higher from holding public office, with conviction being an immediately impeachable offense.

Because seriously, if you can't vote or own a gun, how can you be expected to honestly represent your constituency?
