Re: Allegheny County DA warns Pittsburgh council could face charges over gun restrict
Now don't anybody go getting a swelled head over this. Mr. Zappala is the highest ranking LEO in the city of Pittsburgh, but there is no danger in him virtue signaling here. The rubber is not even close to hitting the road, and I am sure that he has his own political aspirations where a sound bite or a headline supporting the laws, including those in favor of the legal ownership of firearms will have more value for him down the road. I will believe it when I see Peduto, Burgess, and the rest of these criminals being charged and prosecuted. Until that happens, it's all just fish wrapping in the newspaper.

Re: Allegheny County DA warns Pittsburgh council could face charges over gun restrict
My take on the letter is that Zappala was not proactive.. rather a (or a couple) council members woke up after the Pittsburgh rally and asked for legal counsel and Zappala provided such in his letter back.

Which will have to be prosecuted by him. You can file a private criminal complaint against them, doesn't mean that he will actually follow through. Government at all levels has basically no accountability. They're free to violate any law they choose and those that are tasked with maintaining the checks and balances do nothing.
Keep in mind, that Mayor Potato is conspiring with other mayors across the state to also violate the law. Where is the AG's office, silent because it's a "local matter".Rules are written in the stone,
