Nothing like a sensationalized headline to drum up readership.

BOYERTOWN — Retired and off-duty police officers will be armed and authorized to use "deadly force" in the Boyertown Area School District's 10 buildings as a result of recent school board votes.
As school districts continue to grapple with the policy ramifications of an increase in school shootings over the past year, Boyertown has moved forward with some security measures it has shielded from public view in order to increase their effectiveness.Gender confusion is a mental illness

I'm in the area so I got the pleasure of seeing some idiotic comments on Fakebook. Some lunatics genuinely stated they were fearful of their kids/grandkids being shot...... by the school officers. Nevermind the lunatic in an unarmed killing field....
After the Boyertown transgender debacle (I don't really know the details), at least they got this one right.

Re: Boyertown Schools to Allow Armed Guards, 'Deadly Force'
I fully support my local school district having armed security. This should have been done along time ago. My kid has a brat in her class. This kid has caused trouble, such as having to evacuate the classroom because of his fits. He has been kicked out of one class room and wound up with my daughters class. He has also been kicked off the bus and now has a mini bus pick him up. More tax payer money wasted!
They are a thing of the past. I remember the first day they came back to Boyertown. Yea it was a big deal but eventually they faded away.
My Father was born in 44. He told me he could rember seeing the crosses burning ontop of cannon hill. (where the big blue waters are. ) Behind those towers are a base ball field and a cement altar type thing. In that area they burned the crosses.Last edited by Daycrawler; January 14th, 2019 at 07:39 PM.

Our school district has had armed police officers for about 10 years. I'm sure they will shoot to kill.
