CC permit for PA homeowner living out of State
A cousin of mine living in NJ is considering purchasing a house and property in PA but would keep his NJ drivers license. Anyone know what the rules are for getting a PA CC permit under these circumstances (and yes, I did read the thread below regarding out of Staters applying for a PA CC permit), or how difficult it would be?

Why keep the NJ license? Insurance is cheaper in Pa. There are literally ZERO good reasons to stick with NJ in any situation.

Yes, but New Jersey might get a little anal retentive when it comes to maintaining a domicile in New Jersey and a residence in Pennsylvania. Five days a week in New Jersey versus two days a week in Pennsylvania? You already know how a New Jersey court would rule if the authorities decided to press the issue following a traffic stop or some such shit.

You will not get a PA license to carry with a NJ driver's license.

Buy a house in PA. Rent an apartment in New Jerkistan to ‘house your sidechick’. Be low key about it. Make plans to GTFO ASAP!

That is not true.
Having a address in PA, with a few months of utilities with your name and that address, along with a letter from lawyer etc, will be enough for a dual resident. (dual resident in the ATF's eyes, nothing more tax related) And PA would issue you a resident permit.Una Salus Victis Nullam Sperare Salutem
