Re: NRA vs GOA
Well, to hear an offer like that, for the sake of the cause convinced me to join. But I’ll cover my own, and before my yearly membership is up, I will make it a point to gift a membership to someone else.
Thank you for the offer and for the motivation to step up my support rather than just switch

Si vis pacem, para bellumμολ ν λαβέWhat country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms!

Re: NRA vs GOA
It has been posted by myself and others on here.
If you use Amazon Smile you designate the GOF for your donation to go to.
GOF is the Gun Owners Foundation which is an arm of the GOA.My Feedback - http://forum.pafoa.org/showthread.ph...ight=stainless

Just to add more information to the discussion, here is a recent thread about the NRA where there is a lot of debate going on.

Btw..... one thing to wrap your head around. Money you send to the GOA may very well be spent to fund court cases against the bump stock ban that the NRA supported.

Re: NRA vs GOA
I will join the GOA, but I'm still going to support the NRA... We would be worse off without them.

Re: NRA vs GOA
This honestly is a key to me. I do think overall we would be worse off without them over the past couple of decades and am not totally renouncing them and am a life + member.
But the nice thing about having a capitalistic philosophy is I think competition is good. I fully support the idea of supporting others like the GOA in the hopes that someday they become as big as the NRA and if they more fully subscribe to my beliefs at that time than the NRA........ they supplant the NRA.
The GOA may be smaller, but with enough support and many years/experience they may eventually become the leaders of the fight for the 2nd if the NRA keeps pissing off a large segment of their membership.
