I have had several of these come into the shop, the slide finish is shit, most them had assembly marks, should have stayed with the original black finish. With that said I think the 48 model is one that I would prefer, they nailed the size, ten round capacity mag with the longer sight radius ,full size grip for better control with the weight savings,;ike I said they nailed ,ps I am not a glock guy ,but I do have two of them ,i think I will get one of these, will change the finish and the trigger along with better sight and an extra three mags.

THE FIREARM GUY is stating that he is of the opinion that the Glock 48 and Glock 43X will be coming out in all BLACK SLIDE in the near future ! I would be willing to hold off on Duracoteing my 48 slide and wait on the Black Slide . JMO

Keystone Shooting Center put a Glock 48 on the rental wall and I went up to shoot it last Friday night. Liked the gun - but don't know if I liked it enough to make the switch from my 19.

Plan to go up later this week with a friend to shoot it again. I want to run some different drills with it. Did notice that the grip is definitely slicker than my 19's (Gen 4 Front Serrations Model).
Tomorrow's battle is won during today's practice.

I got to handle one and bought the molds to make holsters for them. F693D7D0-E994-4134-82D4-071F67743F3B.jpg
Go head, skin it. Skin that smoke wagon and see what happens.

Picked up a 48 this weekend, quite fond of it already.
For a couple a very good reasons,
    - I like the finish, found it to be very grippy even with sweaty/wet hands
    - Rounded nose on the slide
    - Extra mass on the front keeps the muzzle from flipping as much
    - BEING ABLE TO DROP THE 43's SLIDE RIGHT ON TOP OF THE 48 FRAME

The last one is hands down the best reason to NOT buy a 43x.
If you have a 43 already just buy a 48 and swap the slides, options are great.
