I wish they would make a Gen 5 non MOS model with front serrations and no front grip cut out.

But for now, my four 19s (three Gen 4 Front Serrations and one Gen 4 NikB "Battleworn" slide) will have to do.
I am interested in the 48s though...

I handled a Glock 48 Friday at my LGS,Yep he got early delivery.I will say it is thinner grip and slide but being used to my Gen 2,3,4s,It felt a bit uncomfortable ? My Hi Cap 19 mags I rarley load up to max since no longer LEO/Security .Feel the 48 for yourself and make your own determination. It is a Glock and last forever.

The thinner grip is what is kind of drawing me to the 48. But for me, it will have to shoot just like the 19 for me to make the switch. I like the two-tone look and the front serrations, but it will come down to how it shoots compared to the 19. The capacity difference is not really a big deal to me.

Hopefully one of the local ranges around my area will put one up for rental some time soon so that I can check it out, not in any hurry, but I am interested.

I have to say that the silver finish is not as ethetically pleasing as I thought. and no rail for light or laser on the 48 .I will hang on to the 43 and 19 4th gens .

I ordered my G48 from Buds on Monday. I carry a Sig p365 for size/round count and the 48 will be my optional CCW/range/HD gun. I didn't want a double stack but wanted a few more rounds than most other single stacks. And I like the Glock improvements made for the 5th gen guns. All in preference though. No one's ever wrong with whatever gun they choose for their situations.

The Streamlight TLR-6 is a nice option for railess Glocks.
