Give it time. He's likely got his finger to the wind as we speak.

Exactly. Time to light up his phone lines again. Even if he doesn't seem to listen, he needs to be reminded frequently that he stands to lose our votes if he supports gun control. Every single time.

Is it really too much to ask for a competent primary challenger?

A primary challenger that we would embrace would lose in the general elections to a Dem. I think it's quite possible Toomey will lose to a Dem the next time his seat is up. The reality is that our state is going to be held by moderates/leftists in state wide voting. Our only salvation is the 'T' in the middle providing enough legislator to prevent us from becoming New York and New Jersey.

What guns can't, besides muzzle loaders?
I don't know of any non dangerous weapons, also all types of guns have been or are being used for war.... Bolt actions, revolvers, handguns, shotguns and even muzzle loaders.
I guess none of them are deadly weapons of war...
The 2nd Amendment isn't about self defense or hunting. They would like it to be, but it's not...
Every time they talk about 2nd Amendment rights....

Well that's what proponents of these ridiculous laws and bans want you to think. In reality, cops can not be there to protect you from a home invasion with multiple attackers, and riots like what happened in L.A. when stores were over run, and looted. There are legitimate reason for private citizens to own these firearms. Self Defense, and hunting are not the purpose of the 2A, but they are legitimate byproducts.
