Re: Century Arms VSKA
We’ve relocated “down south” and I haven’t had the opportunity to shoot much. I’ve put through another 200/300 with no problem.
I ordered and received a new buttstock and misplaced it during the move! The length and heel to toe dimensions on the original buttstock are my only gripe. Just too damn short and shallow.
Same with my brother and his VSKA.

Hey Will. Believe it or not I have shot it once since relocating, still busy moving in!
I have 3 or 4 firearm projects awaiting my tactile experience. Take care!

Re: Century Arms VSKA
Hey Steve! I would watch out and do some reading on how VSKAs might have problems with exploding after 4-5000 rounds. Do a couple searches. That pushed me away from them.

Thanks! Now I’m gonna have to check it out. Brother too.
And I just had a new wooden butt stock made for the VSKA. Longer, more drop, more heel to toe height. Be well.

As I understand it, the issues that came to light in the Yeager test have been rectified. In several posted 5,000 round tests conducted since Yeager's, the rifle performed flawlessly.
I have roughly 1,500 rnds through my VSKA with zero failures, no deformation of components and no change in headspace.
In my experience at least, the VSKA has met expectations.
Time will tell whether it's as durable as advertised.

Philly! Miss Picksberg Stillerz but now we*re 20 miles from the Buccaneers!
So far, good shooting but I haven*t put the new buttstock on the VSKA. The stock butt is a pain in the *shoulder*...ass!
Too short and very little drop.
