Police confiscation starts with DPMS sportical / oracle and only goes down from there.

Bear Creak and Radical are probably cheaper.

When I bought mine, it was $119.99 NEW. Not sure when that was, but I was shocked to see what they want for them now.
They're worth $120, but I wouldn't pay more than that for one. I sold mine a long time ago to help pay for my first AR15.
(I guess that was around 2006/2007)

Howzabout one of these? Just paint it EB (evil black) and nobody in the media will know the difference. Could even use empty toilet paper cardboard for the optics...

Just be sure it's not loaded while in your vehicle and store the rubber bands separate from the rifle while transporting across the state...

I gave this very question a lot of thought before going to the Pittsburgh rally.

One of the big questions that I still wonder is- Would carrying an SBR afford more protection from the permanent disappearance of a confiscated firearm or would it just be a more costly mistake?

Would the ATF intercede on the behalf of a registered owner (assuming no State/Federal laws are broken)?

At that rally, I wouldn't be concerned, since carry is legal, and they hadn't banned anything at that point.

Once they "ban" them, I wouldn't do it even with a note from my mother.
