Re: I Feel the Need for a Sacrificial Rifle
You can buy an AR15 for $350.
WTF do HiPoints cost these days? $320?
I don't understand the thought process.

Re: I Feel the Need for a Sacrificial Rifle
When I bought mine, it was $119.99 NEW. Not sure when that was, but I was shocked to see what they want for them now.
They're worth $120, but I wouldn't pay more than that for one. I sold mine a long time ago to help pay for my first AR15.
(I guess that was around 2006/2007)

I agree that you should leave the HK @ home...
Got a jigsaw?
Howzabout one of these? Just paint it EB (evil black) and nobody in the media will know the difference. Could even use empty toilet paper cardboard for the optics...

Just be sure it's not loaded while in your vehicle and store the rubber bands separate from the rifle while transporting across the state...- bamboomaster

Re: I Feel the Need for a Sacrificial Rifle
I gave this very question a lot of thought before going to the Pittsburgh rally.
One of the big questions that I still wonder is- Would carrying an SBR afford more protection from the permanent disappearance of a confiscated firearm or would it just be a more costly mistake?
Would the ATF intercede on the behalf of a registered owner (assuming no State/Federal laws are broken)?"It seems that the Constitution is more or less guidelines than actual rules"
