    Default Renewal of Arizona CWP

On 12/21/18 I got a letter from AZ that my CWP was up for renewal. It expires on 3/19/2019. I filled out the form and mailed it two or three days later. Had to get a money order. They do not take credit cards or personal checks. I got the new permit yesterday, 1/7/2019. The new permit has an issue date of 3/19/2019 and expires on 3/19/2024.

    Another smoother and fast process.

How difficult is it to get the permit initially, and what's the cost?

I believe mine was $60, IIRC renewal is around $40.

Process is pretty similar to FL, except you can be printed by any place that does printing, does not have to be law enforcement.
Took about 4 weeks the first time.

I do not recall the initial cost. I took a class in DE county. It was posted here. I think they are still offered. The renewal was $43

    Thank you.
From what I hear the new head of the FL department of agriculture is not gun friendly and there’s rumor non res permits will be removed. Mines good for at least 4 more years but I like to know my alternatives.

New head is very every anti gun. FL is not a gun friendly state anymore. I am sure more gun control is headed down the road. Ages have been raised for long guns, bump stocks illegal here first etc.
