I hope the DA does. What makes the Mayor think he is above the law or able to pick and choose the ones he wants to abide by? What makes him think he is better then anyone else who resides within the common wealth?

Ohh yeah he will just pull one of the Clintons "if the ends justify the means" comments from his ass.

I hope enough well spoken pro 2A advocates show up and take both the Mayor and the city council to task.

Mayor sez "ARREST ME" regarding his disregard for the law.

My wife just read his comments to me but I don't know where she read it from.

My son lives in the city and has signed up to speak. I am going with him to show support. He isn't sure what he is going to say yet.
We are union building tradesmen and many of us are gun guys. the talk around jobs is the democratic party hasn't represented our beliefs in quite awhile. There has been a shift over the last few years to members voting republican.
This may be the straw that pushes a large portion of the members to the repub side.

I am encouraging him to speak to the above rather than reciting statistics of gun violence and the legalities of their proposal. These bastards only care about one thing, votes. If they keep pushing these laws they are about to lose a big portion of their most loyal voting base.

I won't hold my breath for the DA to arrest them.

And the mayor isn't concerned about it either - he's just putting on a show.
He's the face of liberals standing up to the establishment - making a difference - blah, blah, blah.

He's on a mission to propel himself into the national spotlight. He doesn't give two shits about people - dead or alive.

First they have to vote on it and have fuzzy-face sign off on it. Then someone has to file a Private Criminal Complaint. Then the MDJ has to pass it on to the DA.

Could happen. Probably won't, but could happen.

This Mayor Pedildo is a real Grandstander and he will be heard and watched in Pittsburgh and in Washington, hopefully he gets put in his place but that’s not going to happen.
Would really like to see charges filed against him and the council if they do this and then try to enforce it!

I've never done any of this stuff but I have a friend (honestly) who is getting railroaded by his ex and the Chesco DA's office and judge(s). He sure knows which buttons to press as at his last hearing, last week there was a different ADA on his case. He's filling out the paperwork to get it onto the AG's desk and he said to me, "You don't know how to do that?", like it's a daily occurrence for us. Peduto and Co. need prosecuting if this goes through and I would hope that someone there would push it.
