Default EForm Form 1 Trust Submission - Trying it Out

I can't believe I am doing another Form 1, thought I was done but came into an HK USC that I am converting to a UMP.

My last Form 1 Trust was done via paper last year and took 4.5 months. This time I am trying the Form 1 Trust via E-Forms and curious to see how long that will take.

I was surprised today, I took a long shot and called the ATF to ask them an EForm question and someone picked up the phone. I thought the NFA processing branch would be closed for the shutdown.

Before Christmas, I was reading that e-files approvals are coming back within in a few weeks. I need to get my butt moving on one, but I've been lazy about getting prints and photos.

That's what I am hoping for. I heard some were as short 11 days but I'm not counting on that.

Every Wednesday the system is down for maintenance. I assume that is when they purge the current applications from the system. If you can submit before a wednesday and you may get you wait time shortened up some.

Just around a month ago my friends wait was 13 days for approval for an sbr. Good luck.

ATF web site says... NFA eForm 1, 4 and 5 are not in service at the present time, due to regulatory change implementation with no set date of restoration to service.[/B]
