Yes, leave it as is. There are far too many mall ninja AK's floating around as it is. If the muzzle nut is tack welded on take a small file to it (The weld) and be careful. Then put on a commie styled muzzle device.

Good idea but I'd go in the opposite direction and just add a brace, avoid the $200 tax stamp along with the whole SBR process.

You're going to want something to mitigate flash, otherwise it's like a flashbang going off in front of your face. On a normal Draco pistol a classic A2 style birdcage flash hider works perfectly.
