    Default Philly and reciprocity.

Is Philly allowed to recognize its own reciprocity? EG, we have reciprocity with Ohio..., is Philly allowed to not recognize Ohio's permits?

I would say that violates preemption.

Not that they'll care if it did. They do it often.

IIRC Pa and Ohio did not have reciprocity in 2010.
We do now, although it may need to be a resident permit if that applies.

Bump. I can't find anything that says that an Ohio CCP holder can't do everything we can do. Do they need to get a resident permit?

The only potential issue I'm aware of since they now have reciprocity, is the Gun Free School Zone law that exempts you if you have a license for the state the school is in.

No. Hiccup with GFSZ applies as noted, but that has nothing to do with any decision from Philly itself.
