    Default Rock Slides and Barrels

Anyone have experience with Rock Slides and Barrels as replacements for Glock OEM?

Rock slides aren't very good for barrels, or anyone or anything else in the path thereof.

All I can say is I'll be finding out how good the slides are in a month or so, fyi they are also on ebay you can gat a 5% discount when you buy more than one go figure. I have read different reviews but this reddit thread pretty much covers the range of good and bad experiences.

What version were you looking at g19, g26, etc? I know there are several decent slides out there i have a swenson on one build it works great, I am in the process of finishing my latest poly 80 19 but that's my baby I went grey ghost precision (on sale at aero precision 25% off right now fyi) and once you mount it you immediately understand the price difference, Maybe that's just me. If your budget building swenson is fine but you can also pick up decent slides at about the same price point here.

Rock slide and barrel arrived today. Good barrel to slide fit, very nice cerakote and serration cuts. However the striker channel has some sort of imperfection or out of spec tolerance that won't let the striker protrude and it gets hung up.

Got a prepaid return label and she's going back. Good customer service so I can't complain too much.

Update: it was an out of spec crappy Brownells channel liner, not the slide. Rock Slide USA put a Glock one in for me and the upper has been great. Very good accuracy.

The word I keep hearing is that OEM internal parts are the most reliable for Glock builds.

Always makes me nervous to drive past a 'falling rocks' sign on the highway.
Even worse when there is a boulder or two already on the road :|
