    Default 6.5 Creedmoor info

So what bullets, powder, primers and cases do you guys/gals like for reloading the 6.5. Just seeing what i need to try and stock up on. Got a few things on the way some 142 and 143 gr bullets and a box of Hornady brass. I already have some Fed GGM primers and Varget. Will be mostly bench target shooting don't think i'll ever hunt with this rifle.

I don't reload 6.5 Creedmore. BUT I do reload 6.5 X 55 S.E. and using Norma MRP I get within 100 fps of Creedmore velocities for Sierra and Hornady 140 gr (HP and SST respectively) Norma MRP produced average velocities a bit over 2700 fps. Sierra 120 gr/ Spitzer SP (Game king) exceeds 2900 fps with both Norma 203-B and MRP.

I just started reloading for 6.5 creedmoor but have done a pretty thorough search of what's popular.

As far as powder is concerned, it seems that the front runner is anything in the 4350 speed family. I've personally used IMR 4350 in a ladder test with outstanding results (0.43" 5 shot group best, all 10 groups in my ladder were under 1" though). I've also loaded another ladder with the AA 4350 but have yet to shoot those. I'd love to try H4350 but that's pretty tough to find locally. I've also seen folks use R-16 and R-17 from Alliant. I've not used these though.

For projectiles, I've had great results with Nosler Custom Competition in 140gr. as well as pretty much any of the Hornady 140gr ELD variants. I load about 0.010" off the rifling and it seems to be working well.
I'm only here for the wood c-rings.
