I've noticed a bit of Mossberg hate around here from time to time.So what makes the Remington any better?

Gun smith couldn't fix it, tried a bunch of different shells still sucked. Fit and finish sucked. My cousin has a pretty over under Mossberg and even that is a piece of shit. Second barrel fires most of the time. For the money, I'll take a Remington any day.
I never really cared about the finish, I have my first 500 I got at 14 still. It's beat up from being used for hunting for decades now, but still shucks shells out fine and hits rabbits when aimed properly. I have no complaints. Different strokes for different folks I suppose. I wouldn't take a new production Remington anything over one now though.

Our department used 500s for years. One day the township made a deal with a local gun dealer and traded them in. I got wind of it and high-tailed it down there and grabbed three...one for myself and two for our sons. Set mine up for deer (PGC was incrementally phasing out rifle in Bucks county). Camo'd it, mounted a scope on it. Still have it. I think the kids offed theirs. Older son said he sold it, couldn't hit anything with it. Turned out I never shot at a deer with it, but it did fine on a range.

I wonder if Mossberg just subbed out this to a contractor and put their name on it?

At least it doesn’t say “grip zone” on it.

This is a bad time to come out with a new 6+1 carry pistol.

Another video with comparisons to the G43 (or whatever number it is) and the Shield.

So far, I like what I see.

Barring any functionality issues, it's gonna sell like hotcakes.

    It's the anti-Glock. I'd buy one just because it's NOT a Glock.
It has a few minor "extras" over the Shield as well.

yeah, if it runs, it's gonna sell really well at that price point.
