Default New: Glock 43x and 48

I saw MarineDivision2 mentioned this gun in the p365 thread. I did a search on Pafoa and could not find anything.

Glock is coming out with a gun similar in size to the 43 but holds 10 rounds. Basically a competitor for the p365. The 48 seems to be the same gun as the 43x but has a slightly longer barrel. I found a site that has a ton of information on it along with a 20 minute video of the guns and size comparison to the p365. Worth checking out.

Hmmm... sounds a lot like the the Sig p365 is more befitting of the "perfection" title.

As I posted in the P365 thread:

If I didn’t have an M&P Shield then I might consider those options. I’d definitely choose them over the Sig P365. The only time I carry my Shield anymore is when I go to NJ (covered by LEOSA). All the other times I am carrying off duty is my Gen 5 Glock 17, sometimes my M&P 2.0 Compact in .40.

I couldn't stay away from the G43, bought one shortly after it was released, been a constant companion. If they squeeze more capacity into it and it remains jeans pocketable, I'm in.

Glock got us Glocker drooling they say they did not intend to make the info available but you know how marketing goes. What I do like about the G 43 X a bit more capacity,a bit longer barrel and grip and would this also classify the 43 X as a 6th gen ? all I do know is Glocks have never failed me on the range and off.there may be distictions I did not like like the Glock 19 X with the grip cut out, that was a big fail until they came out with the Glock 45/9mm I have one but dont expect to be walking around with a full mag 17+1 and extra mag anytime soon in my bathing suit or shorts so I await the 43 X !

It's a good bit longer in the grip than the P365.

Yeah, I guess they couldn't figure out how to make the extra rounds fit in the G43, so they just made the grip longer. LOL

Not much of a copy of the 365 the way I thought it would be.
    Nothing that would interest me.
