    Default M&P 45 range report

60 rounds through it (10 Golden Saber, 50 Speer Lawman FMJ). Shoots great, feels great. I'm using the small backstrap insert, and it seems to work out well with my hands, though I may give the medium a try next time. In any case, it was way more comfortable than the Glocks and XDs I've tried.

The only slight glitch I encountered was a couple of instances of problems feeding the first round in a mag, but my BIL was with me and we figured it out by observing each other - turns out we weren't pulling the slide back completely before letting it go forward. Because of that, the slide wasn't picking up the back of the round, and instead hung up on the side of the casing as it was forced 'diagonally' upwards by the mag spring. Once we figured that out and made sure to rack it fully, there were no more issues.

    Congrats

The failures tend to always happen on new weapons, most need to be worn in just a bit first. Pretty much every pistol I own did that from the start.

    I enjoy my 9c, 45, and 15

True. My M&P9C did have few FTE's when it had less then 150rds shot counts.
