Personally I won't go shorter than a 10.5 on 223/556 after checking out the ballistics.

    I'm thinking of a shorter ar9 tho, maybe 7 or 8"
The kit included an 80% lower also! There is something I like about the shorties...probably the fireball, LOL! I am going to do a 10.5" next.

After reading though this thread, I guess Davidson Defense must be one of their other names because the kits/assembled uppers look the same.
I was looking at the Davidson Defense stuff because of the low priced assembled uppers. I get emails from them but not sure how I got on the list because I have never ordered from them.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Probably ordered something from one of the other companies and didn't realize it. Or, they bought a customer list from someelse for advertising. Companies have taken over other already shuttered businesses for the same purpose.

    Davidson Defense
    Omega Manufacturing
    Delta Team Tactical

Not sure why they run 3 different sites...they should just run 1 and focus more on customer service!

All in all though, I was pleasantly surprised! Less than 1 week from order to my door!

I think I may roll the dice on one myself, and just buy a stripped lower till I can mill it out

Update- the POS Ext bolt release never attached right, and screws stripped out on the second test fire. Got a Troy and it's great. I laughed I cried I pissed $30 away. Next on my hit list is PSA if the lower I ordered for a customer doesn't get here soon.
