Re: NRA is up for renewal 2019 yea or nay?
I’m a life member but had the opportunity twice in recent weeks to tell the marketing professionals working with the NRA who called me exactly how I felt about the NRA’s performance lately. I won’t be giving them another cent until they wake up and start playing offense instead of constant defense.
I’ll be joining the GOA within the next several days.

Re: NRA is up for renewal 2019 yea or nay?
Joining the NRA right now after their bump stock move is similar to the conundrum of voting for the Rino after an anti-gun vote. What is the lesser of two evils? Not joining or not voting or holding ones nose and joining and voting. There is a little more choice in the gun organizations issue than in the voting issue. I'm an NRA life member because of the numbers and a GOA member because they are more vocal. Too bad I can only vote once.
Sticks and stones will break my bones but hollow points expand on impact.

Re: NRA is up for renewal 2019 yea or nay?
I'm a regrettable NRA life member.
I am also a life member of two other 2A, national organizations; GOA and SAF.
I am a life member of some 2A state organizations.
As well as a regular member of many other national, state, and local 2A organizations.
That being said.
The NRA no longer gets any donations from me.
All the other 2A organizations receive hundreds from me every year.
So I say "nay" to NRA renewal.
Instead; start making payments for life membership to GOA and SAF.--ET

Re: NRA is up for renewal 2019 yea or nay?
Everybody blames the nra for the bumpstock ban, a lot of people if they aren’t complaining about nra asking for money are saying how they aren’t as effective as some other gun rights lobbyists. How can it be both ways? Why didn’t nagar or goa or any other gun group stop the ban? Republicans own 3 branches, 2A is a plank in the party agenda, why didn’t they stop it?
So there it is. Going to rallies don’t work. Membership to gun right groups doesn’t work. Voting doesn’t work.
The only advice I have for you is to live your character. Be whom ever it is you believe you are.The Gun is the Badge of a Free Man
