suppressed/subsonic 9mm propellants (SBR)
Kinda lookin for ideas for my son's setup. He remarked that Unique seemed dirtier in subsonic-suppressed doses. I found Vihtavuori powders and loads on www.SilencerTalk.com discussions. Vihtavuori will probably happen someday, but hoping for info re more conventional and available and cheaper standard powders. Thanks in advance.

I load my 147 bullet over 3 grains of Bullseye in my suppressed sbr. Have no issues yet.
Soon as the weather breaks I'll be changing over to Alliant's Sport Pistol powder.www.Steelvalleycasting.com is your new home for coated bullets and custom ammo.

Ive also used 3-3.2 of Titegroup powder also. But I find TG to be a bit smokey.

I'm the opposite. My 9mm are so hot the primers are crushing.
I only shoot them from my hi-point which fell apart due to the extra load.
Had to blue loctite every screw, nut and bolt.

Re: suppressed/subsonic 9mm propellants (SBR)
I used 4.0gn Power Pistol and was seeing ~950fps. It was fun & cool, but once it dawned on me that I'm not a operator, I quit trying out sub-sonic loads. I hope no one takes that wrong. I still love shooting suppressed, but I quit trying to slow down bullets

Re: suppressed/subsonic 9mm propellants (SBR)
There are moments when < 1106 fps is warranted. My club is soon having a suppressor night shoot.
Normally the club restricts gunfire to cease at sundown to accommodate the neighborhood that was built around the club. Under the speed of sound will be part of the requirements at the shoot. Finding 1050 147s is not difficult and is an option, but with a sh*tload of brass and bullets available, reloading seems more enticing.

Re: suppressed/subsonic 9mm propellants (SBR)
I actually shoot 147's in IDPA competition. Very easy to make power factor with a 147. 3 gr of Bulls pushes them at 886 fps average. Also happens to make the perfect subsonic load. So its more of a 2 for one deal for me
