good gunsmith in reading/lancaster area
looking for someone i can trust to bed actions and mount scopes etc on rifles with nicer wood stocks and high-gloss blueing.
i don't mind a little bit of a drive, but nescopek or chalfont might be a bit far from reading.
any suggestions will be appreciated.
thanks.

Re: good gunsmith in reading/lancaster area
There is a gunsmith in Robesonia but I don't know his name. My buddy says he's good but I can't vouch for him first hand. He also has a 'No Loaded Guns' sign on his door so I don't think I'd patronize him.

Superior Gunsmithing & Custom Shop in Robesonia, his no loaded sign states it is for guns that are brought in for gunsmithing. He welcomes open and conceal carry.

Re: good gunsmith in reading/lancaster area
Thanks guys. I've tried the guy in Robesonia for a couple of things but wasn't satisfied with the results.
Still hoping someone can make a recommendation.

His name is James Hoffa in Robesonia, did transfers with him. Can't vouch for his work.

Hi, we’re General Arms in Pottstown area. We are very professional and reliable. Been in the Gunsmith business for 40 plus years.
We repair, build, barrel work, site work, whatever needed. We do work for Gordons, French Creek, and other gun shops in area.
Just let me know what is needed and I’m sure I’m sure I can help.
Thanks.
