My oldest son and I took my 16 year old daughter to the range today. It was her first time shooting a firearm. After the normal safety lesson and making sure the gun was sighted in I handed it over to her to shoot. 50 Yards with the 22. I think the scope could use a little down and a little left still.



From the rifle range we proceeded to the pistol range where I let her shoot my XD45. I have to say I was quite impressed. Shooting from 10 yards....



She is already looking forward to the next time we go to the range..

I think generally women are better shots than men. The have more patience. My wife shoots 3-4 times a year and she is right back up to speed after a mag or two. Its disgusting!

We joined Forest Grove about 2 months ago. It's convienient since it is only about 15 minutes from my house.

Do these kind of coments make anyone else's stomach turn a lil bit? I'm sure the poster did not mean anything by it. Just sounds kinda creepy, and that lil girls are only here to learn how to be wives and mothers later in life.
