Default Rocket launchers turned in at buybacks....

Baltimore had a gun "buy back", and they claim to have taken in a rocket launcher tube.

Rumors have been circulating for years that various PD's will lend each other scary-looking weapons to enhance the "success" of these events, which helps explain all the minty AR-15's and AK's and such that they claim were turned in by little old ladies who found them in the garage. We might be able to follow these rocket launchers around the country.

Honestly there are thousands of those tubes in circulation, they are 1 time use cardboard tubes and can be had for as little as $25 at surplus stores. It wouldn't surprise me if a vet left it in a garage and moved out and somebody turned it in, same as the dummy grenades that the bomb squad gets called in for every year.

They are buying back tubes that used to hold rockets? I got a lot of boxes that used to hold bullets. How much are they giving out?

C'mon 3531, you should know these are deadly fiberglass tubes not deadly carboard tubes.
We need to get these dangerous tubes off the street. A cat could get their head stuck in one.

I got a bunch of big tubes made of Polyvinyl chloride, that sounds scarier then fiberglass.

I have a feeling that Scruff's picture of the Wilkinsburg buyback program is a more accurate reflection of firearms that are actually turned in.

I wonder what would happen if they knew you can buy a nuclear missile silo, for an amazing price!

Hell even the metal LAW tubes are floating around but I think they go for more like $200. I bought a demilled Spanish 3.5" "bazooka" for $75 at knob creek a few years ago
