People need to do whatever is necessary to make this happen. If you live across the state, I understand. If you live in or near Pittsburgh, or spend time in Pittsburgh, this is your fight. There is no valid excuse for not showing up to fight for your rights. There are other jobs out there, but you won't get your rights back if you allow them to be taken. Make your voice heard. No excuses. This is it. Time to fight.

I'm not sure, when they wanted a rally NOW instead of waiting until enactment, a few of them decided to organize this. I'm not sure who wrote it. I assume Justin Dillon, who appears to be the main organizer.

Hey now, for $750,000 you can get a decent driveway in the city.
If there would be any overflow, (doubtful) there is plenty of unused street parking on my street, or fill my yard...

When I think of Lawrenceville, I think of the flats. That's definitely not the flats. Jeesh, you could fit 10 Lawrenceville houses on that lot!

Scruff and Lazylaser, you two are the most knowledgeable about how the poofa contingent should handle this logistically if we want to rally as a group. Do you have recommendations for where we should meet/park/walk from, etc?

Day off confirmed. I'll be there. Hopefully there will still be some room in that massive driveway. Finding parking downtown on a weekday is a nightmare.

I'm likely in, so long as snow is not a big factor. A 4 hour drive in the snow isn't appealing.

I will likely be hitting rte 80 via rte 66, so near Shippenville/Clarion the morning of the rally.
If that helps anyone, or if there is a caravan being organized, etc, etc, let me know.


Also interested in parking at Lazylaser's place if possible.
Also willing to jump into a carpool if space is an issue.
