    Default Heavy Armory Division 1911s

Anyone know anything about these guys and their custom builds? Good, bad, indifferent, worth the $$? A friend of a friend bought one and is looking to sell it. Original owner bought it for like $1k. Google search didn't return too much, other than folks commenting about barrels, slides, etc. Figured I'd turn to you fine folks.
    Stay armed my friends.

I thought I knew of every 1911 maker on the planet, and I have never heard of them. They aren't being discussed on the 1911-specific forums where I hang out.

I have seen a few.of their FAL and 1911 builds featured on the 704 Tactical YouTube channel. They look pretty nice but there's not a ton of information.

    They are located in NC.

Why go with a brand that may have limited warranty support for a 1k price tag. Get a major brand 1911 (Sig, S&W etc...) and if something breaks you get a free repair and shipping. If you plan on shooting it...

I do not own a 1911 and have limited experience with them. However, I shoot about 500 rounds a week and guns do break.

Here is one of their custom FAL builds and it's pretty damn sweet, these sold out super fast once they went live.

I'm always wary of buying any firearm when theres limited information available on them. They could be a good buy or plagued with problems. With that said theres to many 1911 manufacturers with proven quality and reliability to risk buying a gun with a lot of unknowns.

How are the fit and finish? What's the trigger like? If everything is as good as the pictures on their web site look, then buy it and enjoy it.
