SBR tax stamp
So, I bought a Arsenal 104ur last week. I want to chop it and get a tax stamp.
I've heard they're coming back very quickly right now.
If I wanted to do the process myself. Is there any particular way finger prints need to be done? Never done this before.
I talked with a Class III dealer at Oaks. They said they could walk me through the process, but they said minimal 5 months. I've read on multiple pages as little as a week or two. I'm thinking I want to try do it myself.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

An E-filed form can be as quick as 2 weeks. Traditional snail mail is right around 225 days.

Eforms are coming back quick. I'm on 8 months and counting for two paper forms.

Rolling your own prints isn't rocket science but if you've never done it before I'd recommend getting it done somewhere that will accommodate you. The individual fingers need to be rolled from side to side. Passport photos can be done at a AAA office.

Re: SBR tax stamp
E Form 1s for SBR, SBS, AOW, and suppressors are coming back that fast.
Form 4s are still snail mail.
So if you want to build it, couple weeks for the wait.
If you are buying it, 8+ months unless you luck out and get put on the top of the stack.HGW, llc ~ Title 1 & NFA sales/manufacturing ~ Transfers - Title 1 $20 - NFA $50

Re: SBR tax stamp
Try to find a local shop with a Silencer Co Kiosk. I did my fingerprints on the kiosk machine and for $25 fee to Silencer Co. they handle the application. Easy as can be.
