Re: SBR tax stamp
Hmm, I've really been wanting to chop an old Stevens 311 12ga.
E-files are really coming back in a matter of weeks?

Re: SBR tax stamp
No problem.
Yes, you build an SBR with your name on a Form1, or buy a factory SBR from Daniel Defense (or other) with their name on it on a Form 4.
Yes.
Do it.
A buddy canceled his mailed in paperwork and did an E-Form and had it back in 13 days.
Now he is just waiting for his refund.HGW, llc ~ Title 1 & NFA sales/manufacturing ~ Transfers - Title 1 $20 - NFA $50

Re: SBR tax stamp
The kiosks are not Silencerco but Silencer Shop (there is a difference). Also, there are other shops that sell suppressors that have their own commercial (FBI approved) fingerprinting and photo set ups. Be aware though - once your fingerprints are taken at a Silencer Shop kiosk, Silencer Shop now owns and has your name and fingerprints in their database FOREVER. As for the sellers that have their own set up, that seller has your name and fingerprints in their individual database FOREVER. Hopefully they won't get hacked.
Right now, Form 1's (snail mail) are taking about 4 months, Form 4's (snail mail) are taking an average of 7 months for approval. Form 4's that are trusts are taking about 10-12 months (depending on how many trustees are in the trust).Ron USAF Ret E-8 FFL01/SOT3 NRA Benefactor Member

Re: SBR tax stamp
I'm on 8 months for a paper F1. I don't think it's worth cancelling at this point.

Re: SBR tax stamp
I've got an AR pistol that I want to SBR. Just a couple weeks? Hmm. Might do this for a birthday present to myself (March).

Re: SBR tax stamp
damnit, didnt need to know how fast they are processing electronically.
I picked up the 7.5" barrel on sale from Combat Armory last week, thinking I was going to make a pistol. Guess it will be a SBR now.
