    Default Competitive Steel Target Games

I did an axe throwing tournament today with my family and now we want to do competitive shooting games as well. I have a few ideas; target horse, left to right target transition scored on the size of the targets, etc. Any suggestions? I'm especially interested in the horse rules because I can do double taps way more accurately than my wife so I'm basically always going to win.

    Target Transition
Shooting left to right from 7 yards
    One shot at each target
    8 total shots per round
    Best of 3 rounds wins
Total possible score of 16 points per round
    No time limit
In the event of a tie, fire 4 shots at any target from 10 yards
    11" x 13" Rectangle - 1 point
    12" Circle - 2 points
    10" Circle 3 points

    Steel Target Horse
Choose your target and shoot it
Pick any target, any sort of shot
Left handed, one-hand firing, double tap, any distance
A missed shot gives you a letter

Get a shot timer. Set up shoot and move stages like USPSA or ICORE. If you aren’t timing it, you might as well shoot bullseye for scores.
